The Sea Wolves are making their way to Dr. Dark’s castle and seeing some strange sights. When the smaller winged homonculi attack. Like over sized white bugs they use blow guns and darts tipped with a paralyzing agent from a sea snail. The men hardly feel the sting before they fall to the ground alive, awake but unable to move. Only one got some shots off wounding a flier. That was Team A. Team B is coming from another direction to reach the castle. They make it to the town which looks deserted. They make their way to the castle. A pile so fantastic even these veterans of Afghanistan, Iraq and Nigeria are struck by its incredible architecture.
“Look at that.”
“Radio silence trooper!” ordered the major.
They find an oddly designed and filigreed vehicle to ride. There is a button on the mother-of-pear inlaid dashboard and a tiller to control it. It starts up one huge thin wheel and several on the back for balance as they trundled on in relative silence. All eyes watching the windows of the elaborate houses and low buildings. They feel eyes on them from all round. The little town on the out skirts of the colossal castle were like mild beginnings of the more elaborate work on the castle more detailed areas. They had an urge to look at it more than just to observe, but to see the intricate workmanship on it. An urge they find troubling.
