Did your kids try to pull the wool over your eyes?

Andy being an intellectual is out of character! Another lame strip

Not that I see the relevance (but I don’t see the relevance of 80% of the comments under this cartoon) but Southend pier is the longest pleasure pier in the world, so that would make it the longest in England.

@ Prof P.C. Gumby: GLACE-i-er [place] here in SoCal.
Glass – [e ] – ure on BBC shows. Other pronunciations?
It sorta plays [impinges] on the pun, no-doubtlessly.

There’s that Cincinnati [early] B/W tape on Utube…might be doubled with ‘kick out the jams’ [mc5]. Raw power!!

In my book you are a heroine donating blood
When I had stomach surgury Connie’s idiot brother donated a pint. Luckily I was not given a transfusion as my haemoglobin count is higher than normal

@Prof danglais
I think the relevance is a lot of ‘Readers’ would like to see Andy take a long walk on that Pier.
Very long.
The 80% relevance is Comic humour related; not merely Strip related, Prof. A. a. H. Gumby.

I actually liked today’s strip, even if Andy does seem a bit more intelligent than usual :P

@afficionado
Yeah, they did try. And mostly quite successfully too! I have a problem with being nieve and thinking "why would someone lie to me? I was pretty much a “Goody two shoes” growing up and I guess I just expected them to do what I told them. sigh………….. But, thankfully they turned out great like your boys.
