Not sure why Ooola’s eyes go from normal to Little Orphan Annie eyes….

Her eyes aren’t popping out in disbelief, so maybe she’s on drugs?

    Morning, Oopsters.

And the day after that, the makeup.

Will Alley like her as a blond? Beg her to keep the wig on after the filming? Will the real Lana actually be a brunette, and a dead ringer for Ooola? There are all kinds of ancient sitcom plots waiting to be recycled here.

So the real Lana is bald? Jewish?

Certainly is a faster way to get the hair length the director wants.

Yes, resealable, Alley will find the real Lana and mistake her for Ooola.

sounds like the “dragapella” group that show up on the comedy channel…. or the average “pride” parade of “queens”…. I’ve never met one, but they seem scarily credible on tv

Good Morning Benders, John Wooley, and readers of Alley
Oop. We find out today that Movie persona Laronde’s hair is a wig. We’ll find soon what other body parts have enhancements. Laronde without the wig and makeup may look very little like the movie persona Laronde. I love the
way Ooola’s eyes shrink to a dot when she is surprised.
In the Star Trek Movie, The Search for Spock, every male
member of the inner core command crew was wearing a hair piece. For all I know Unhura was also wearing a wig.

Larry’s Story: Alley Oop and the Glarbs (part 2, continued from yesterday)

But it wasn’t long before this punishment was handed out as part of a prison sentence. The electric collars were first put on only the ‘punished’ prisoners. But over time, eventually every drone was forced to wear one.

It also got to the point where you could be turned into a drone if you dared to speak out against your leader. Or you were suspected of speaking out against your leader. When Gritzel eventually became dictator, he extended this to punishing the entire family into slavery if any one of them was convicted of ‘treason’, which could just be bad-mouthing, or accused of bad-mouthing Gritzel.

Like water flowing down from the top, our society became more sadistic and brutal. And beating or torturing drones was not looked upon as wrong because they deserved it. It was an accepted practice, and public exhibitions of cruelty became more and more common place. Children would see their parents laugh at those being tormented and learned that this was something to be enjoyed. And their children learned the same lessons from them.

And Gritzel is the worst, most sadistic, and vicious of all our leaders. Making his prisoners fight for entertainment and burying the loser alive or dead, or in Alley’s case the winner, just for a good show! No consideration is given to the poor victims and their families that they are intelligent, caring beings that can feel love, terror, and pain just like the rest of us.”

As Borman finishes telling the history of their society there is complete silence throughout the room. Although they all knew everything he had talked about, hearing it from beginning to end like that just knocked the wind out of all of them. The horrifying truth is just too much to bear. A few stifled sobs and sniffles escape from both females and even some males.

The hard truth of what their culture had become is shocking and terrifying.

    Something must be done.‏
