Good Morning to all of you.

Well, well, looks like Alley’s on the right path now!

Yesterday’s panel made it look like something zapped him in mid-air. That clears it up.

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 21 “Dead To Rites” (40) 3/12/2014 Wednesday

Everyone is in the Wanderer and the powerful engines are started up and the large wheeled transport is on the move. The little airport isn’t but a few miles from the town proper so it won’t take long to get there then to the cemetery. The military style GPS on a larger screen shows the layout based upon satellite and information of the city design amalgamated into one continuous scan for them updated as time goes on.

Unbeknownst to them one of Dr Dark’s satellites have been following them and some of his spy bots are on the way since it has reached him about Alley and Ooola returning to our time. He wants in on it. (He will send a larger stealth craft full of those SEBs to that location.)

Long shot of the two-part dark sleak rolling command post on the dusty road heading to the deserted town. Mostly older one and two story buildings some 80 years old. There are a few taller

buildings from the 1960’s and one higly reflective one from the 1980’s at a modest 25 stories with a communications mast on top.

Inside Dr. Tucker tells them to call Jim Elkhorn and find out his status and location.

    Morning, Oopsters.

Oh sure, he just happened to land in the very same thorn bush where Ooola was. Right. Uh huh.

Oola should have gone in the opposite direction.

The Benders are slipping; they could have spent two or three days showing the ax being separated from Oop’s side as he landed, him then picking it up, and also Oop removing the thorn from the sole of his foot.

Benders watched too much Andy of Mayberry.

Would you believe that was actually what that show was called when it first entered syndication?

Hopefully, you can all see my posts. I was banished for a short time after unwittingly running afoul of the Terms of Service, and I was supposed to be returned to “visible” status today.

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. The piece
of the dress that tore off was much bigger. I am wondering if
the guards each took a souvenir piece off of it. Thorny cuts
from berry bushes are no fun as a former amateur berry
picker can tell you. It a good thing that Alley’s got a tough
hide on him. Not as bad as I thought yesterday but he still
should take better care of himself (even with a cartoon
    body).

Too bad Jack couldn’t draw Oop landing on a bush well enough for everyone to know that’s what was happening yesterday.

A couple people did guess it right though and it kind of looked like that was happening. Just poorly drawn.
