Good Morning to everybody who reads Alley Oop!

Hmm . . .Either Alley’s gonna use these vines to lash several logs to make a bridge . . .

. . . or he’s gonna use ’em to swing Tarzan style.

Either way could work, I guess.

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 21 “Dead To Rites” (36) 2/8/2014 Saturday

The scene is outside on the tarmac of a small airport, one with weeds growing through the pavement cracks, showning lack of care for some years.
Alley and Ooola meet and shake hands with Doc Wonmug and Dr. Tucker as a large multi-wheeled vehicle loomed in the back ground only eclipsed by an even larger flat black CV-17 that is their ride.
“Glad to see you two again,” said Doc Wonmug,“things can really change fast around here Alley.”
“Ya don’t have to tell me that Doc, it is my life.” He replied smiling showing big square teeth.
“I’ve had my share too.” Ooola added offering her much smaller and slimmer, but no less strong hand and arm for greetings. She blushed when Tucker took it and kissed her hand in fine old world continental fashion. Every European.

They hear the engines revving up for the small craft they had rode in, that then abruptly takes off with a “whooosh!” Soon lost in the cloudless achingly blue sky.
“Come friends let us go to the “Wanderer” and I’ll catch you up on what is happening." Dr. Tucker said and led the way back to the vehicle.

The group followed the darkly dressed Paranormalist on the short walk to it.
The train that Secret Service agents Artemis Gordon and James west took all over the country in the series Wild Wild West is called, “The Wanderer.”

    Morning, Oopsters.

Two whole panels for this? Can a plot possibly be moved slower than this?

Yes! Sunday I want to see Alley reach for the vines, repeat Monday, and he can struggle the rest of the week with making a rope.

Why don’t they just go around the pit?

It’s been nearly two and a half months since Oop started looking for Ooola. In that time, she ate some berries and took a nap. So, I would say no. The plot could not possibly move any slower.
