Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 21 “Dead To Rites” (10) 2/10/2014 Monday

Back at the Pentagon Round Table Dr. Tucker shows the military, corporate and clandestine service men and women the probable targets from a listing done by Kolchak with some help from a part time Amerindian shaman for where the enemy agents will strike next. He needs a team and the resources to track them down and stop them. After his presentation he collected his notes and waited as they were in hushed conference. Maybe that fascinating cave man from the past will be there. He is quite experienced, rough and ready to handle things.

General Mann is contacted an speaks with Dr. Tucker about this. He sends an encoded message with all the data he has collected to the General to look over. Though the recommendations are in so he tells Dr. Tucker where to do to take a flight to a certain undisclosed location. He is ready.

Ooola notices the wound on Alley’s side. The blood has coagulated quickly and it stopped bleeding. Alley says he doesn’t feel any pain now. They go on Dinny out of the evil arena into the night air free of its circular walls and smell of death. Wizer is treating the wounded and also the four kings who need water & electrolytes first then food. They are very hungry. Some show signs that the the xooloo spiders had also fed on them from the circular sores.

Our current formalities were many years in the making. Just having a king, though, we probably not a cave man “thing”.

I’d suspect “your majesty” would be the current protocol… and if some Brit addressed their queen by ‘Liz, Betty, or Lil’beth’ they’d be talking with guys with funny hats in ol’ Bailey quickly

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop Alley has
Dinny moving in a fast gait in crossing the border. Of course when he reaches downtown, he’ll have to slow down and
watch out for old people and child crossing the path. King
Tunk definitely needs to get two new guards, the current
ones now spend their time looking up for pterodactyls
with beautiful women on them instead of watching the
border and the road. Flying women hmm It certainly
worked with the women wing-walkers in the 1933 RKO
musical Flying down to Rio. Had some little knowns in
it by the names of Astaire and Rogers.

Well these are ancient Texans after all. So maybe King Guz and King Tunk work okay for them.

I can’t imagine the Brits having ANYTHING to do with the Moo/Lem territories…. I guess I should have added an “Eg” to the comment.
