    She seems to get fatter every day. It’s affected the way she walks

    Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 21 “Dead To Rites” (1) 2/1/2014 Saturday

    After Both Eeny the Terrible and Wootietoot were vanquished Alley, Ooola and Dinny still have a big problem. In the Arena one of the last acquisitions of the Hairshirts, Eeny’s control agency, they somehow found, captured and brought back a Big Blue hopping carnivore. It was let loose, along with a green spike shooting dino and a large albino mastodon.

    The mastodon was killed by Big Blue in a tremendous fight and ate Eeny, her Hairshirt Leader Sheema and her red fire-breathing pterasaur. (At least there is no evidence anyone got away.)

    Wizer on his red devil dinosaur is trying to force the big doors open. He calls over several Moovians to help free the chocks so that the bolts can be pulled back. (The other Hairshirts who were alive took to their tamed pterasaurs and flew away.)

    Morning, Oopsters.
    No way would Ooola be stupid enough to eat something without knowing whether it is poisonous or not!

    Are there hallucinogenic berries? Ooola might be going on another kind of trip

    Rule of thumb from a WWII survival guide: 80% of the blue or black berries in the world are edlble, 50% of the red berries, and 0% of the white berries.

    Poison oak has white ones in spring. I have always eaten a few to build up an immunity. Native American thing…

    Is that a piece of dress left on a branch for Alley to detect?

    @handiman40, from yesterday:

    Thank you for refreshing my memory regarding the “Alley Oop and the berries” story. If I recall correctly, he had a rather “thorny” problem getting those berries! ;-)
