Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 20 “The Coup in Moo Falls Mainly on Oop”(164) 1/28/2014 Tuesday

“Looks like the end for her, lets go.” Alley says to Ooola and they turn and call Dinny over to reach up so that they can climb on his back again and go to help Wizer to stop wootietoot while that hopping dino was busy.

“Let’s press em hard,” Wizer says to his troops just as the xooloo spiders start to spread out. Zotshot uses her flames on them and builds a flame wall to keep them in. The fury of the attack tripled between the fire and the rocks and spears and even arrows rained down on Wootietoot’s position. She was overwhelmed and lost control of her children. They began to hop over the flames or scoot through them in wild haste. Some of them caught fire as they ran or hopped into the dark forest leaving a trail of fires as they went yelling and creaming.

Alley saw that the blue jumping dino was the most dangerous thing in the Arena of Justice. A danger to them and all of Moo. Even Dinny couldn’t fight this behemoth off and win. They need a plan of action because sooner or later it will get out an wreck a different kind of havoc.

I usually wreak a usual kind of havoc but in this case I think it fits….

Hmmm, yesterday Dinny’s backplates appeared to be rather small, but today with Oop up on his back, they are nearly as tall as Oop…

Invasion by air and land, if Lem borders the ocean they had better watch out for someone on a Plesiosaur

If you will please check the last panel in Sunday’’s strip and compare Alley’s size to the first panel in today’s strip … unless you are blind you will see the Bender-hell-U-broker can’t keep Alley and Dinny’s size correct. It has nothing to do with perspective.

Are you not familiar with Jack Bender’s problem of keeping Alley and Dinny’s size at least close and constant? It has nothing to do with perspective at all.

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop. A new sign on the road pointing to downtown Lem. I suppose its
important if it’s shopping day, you don’t want to take the
wrong path and end up in uptown Lem. I’ve never seen a
map showing the borders of both Lem and Moo. In the story
arc where Guz designates Alley to build a wall to keep out
Lemmian invaders, Alley bring up that people could just walk around the wall. To which Guz replies ‘Then build it
to the sea’. This infers that the Moo-Lem shared border is
long and ends at the sea. With jungle, swamps, the sea,
and mountains as barriers, perhaps there are only a few
good crossing points between the two countries. Of course
when you factor in the air, the skies the limit.

unless you are referring to mental perspective… like who gives a hoot about such trivia in a cartoon strip about fictional anthropomorphs in distorted time frames…

nothing to do with perspective, or coherence – the way Carole tells it there are only two idiot border guards in Lem, and they have abandoned their posts and somehow followed Ooola “deep within Lem,”(remember she was flying) and then argue over who will date her.
meanwhile Ooola is lost deep in the woods and Oop heads for downtown where he can:

“Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty
    How can you lose?
The lights are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares
So go downtown; things’ll be great when you’re
Downtown; no finer place for sure
    Downtown everything’s waiting for you”
