Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 20 “The Coup in Moo Falls Mainly on Oop”(93) 11/17/2013 Sunday

Alley has gone back to Moo and found it in a state of siege. Taken over by Eeny the Mean and Wootietoot the Lost. With a horde of under ground monsters called xooloo spiders at Wootietoot’s
beck-and-call. Eeny, who tried to take over Moo once before is back more powerful than ever. She controls all the women of Moo, Jerooly. Sawalla, Lem and far Kam. Now her entire air force of Hairshirts,
her main women of enforcement of her rules are in the West of Moo. Her entire wing of Hairshirts on pterasaurs are after both Alley Oop and the rest of the male rebels to take them down to bring back for
    trial then the games.

Alley was sent by Wizer/Other to save the last of the foragers for food who had been captured. He is riding Dinny at full gallop to get to them were intercepted by four of the Hairshirt squadron and
knocked them out and went on his way. He is getting close now.

The place where they are is very close to where Alley killed the Hairshirt Ootoo and her ice bird. He knows others are in the area and could attack at any moment.

Rounding the bend of trees they spy the huddled group of children and the three Hairshirts.

The children start to shout till the spear butts are used to quiet them. Alley has no time to parlay and charges at them head down anger in both their eyes. (Dinny’s skin is now livid with his anger
    color of orange-red.)

Day 7 of Oop goes to see the doctor. I still can’t get over Alley’s response to “Insurance” – No, it’s Alley Oop". Makes no sense whatsoever.

Oop should just make up a birthdate. Chances are “Mark” wont do a background check.

Sad to see the decades finally catching up with Alley Oop. He didn’t need medical attention after a little fall off a cliff before.

    @Unca Scrooge

Last week, Tarzan didn’t sink a PT boat docked alongside the one he stole. Then he had to use DEPTH charges to sink the chasing PT boat. All that happened on a river, where PTs are ill equipped to operate. Where’s the sense in that?
    -
Meanwhile, over at Comics Kingdom, Mandrake is investigating a giant frog that wears glasses, has teeth, and peeks into people’s windows.
    -
In print, Mark Trail just caused the death of a corrupt senate aide by using a story about a recording that didn’t exist.
    -
In comics, there’s a lot of “Makes no sense whatsoever” going around, huh?

For claiming a pro-bono services write-off on his tax return? Can’t prescribe pain killers to an undocumented patient? Or, most ironic of all, a malpractice suit for treating a patient without enquiring about his (wait for it. . . . ) medical history?

Good Morning Benders and readers of Alley Oop, The question of age can be given in astronomical terms. If Halley’s comet visited earth back in Alley’s time and he is 35 years old in comic strip fantasy years then he could say
he was born 8 seasons before the last appearance of
Halley’s comet. (For us the last appearance was 1986)
This is only a approximation as all time is relative to the time machine. Of course Doc could just lie for him
Alley does need snappy comebacks, When the receptionist
says Insurance. Alley’s comeback could be No Thanks
I’ll take my chances with the Doctor.

Those are examples where you can question the logic of events and whether it makes sense in the context of how that comic is defined. This is a response to a basic question and since the answer doesn’t make sense it signifies sloppiness on the part of the author. Had she taken the time to read this over, she would have seen that Oop’s reply is goofy. It could be Jack’s fault (if he also does the lettering) in that he might have missed part of Carole’s script – she may have written for Mabel “Insurance? Name?” and he left it out. As it stands, it just looks poorly written.
