    Good Morning, Alleygators!

Mary isn’t a plant or an insect, so that leaves HER out.

Of course there was no obvious plant life. Why didn’t they just climb down? I know asking too much.

Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 20 “The Coup in Moo Falls Mainly on Oop”(27) 9/10/2013 Tuesday

Alley Oop has found upon returning to Moo, for a rest from the 21st century, and finding it over run by monsters from the dark underground and controlled by evil Eeny and a long missing Wootiewoot who seems to control the xooloo spiders. They have control of four of the countries around—Moo; Jeerooly, Kam,Lem and Sawalla.

A voice comes blasting out, magnified by one of the Ramasaur horns being used to magnify the voice Umpateetle!
“Tonight ladies of the Hairsuit Legion, we are having a most wondrous and important combatant in our ring tonight.”
After a breath she continues,“a most wanted criminal in the five provinces has been captured at last!”

Alley is about to correct her when a bright yellow light shines down upon him and Dinny.
“It is the dreaded Alley Oop, tonight he shall fight all our champions to the death!”

“Yeh, my lucky day.” Well he did want to smash some heads, now he will get the chance.
The crowd roared. All the women the men in their collars and chains sat quietly by as if drugged.
    -
King Guz is strapped into the throne near the double thrones as are the other male kings of those other countries now provinces of Eeny’s empire.

I appreciate the story line, but this is just
taking forever for them to meet.

I’m surprised that no one has mentioned that Oop’s coat is nice and clean today after being muddy yesterday.

    Morning, Oopsters.
Carole normally moves the story way too slow, but in today’s strip she’s just stalling.

Mary is out on a limb

    Mary had a little lamb,
and with it she did frisk.
    Wasn’t she a silly girl,
    Her little *

I didn’t expect them to meet at all. It would be her impressions of them that become fodder for Dr. Frankenstein and “the Monster.”

Wow! What compelling dialogue. Carole has outdone herself once again.

Mary is certainly alive, and they saw her didn’t they? Ridiculous and needless dialogue that just wastes time.
    .
Carole, please just tell the story, don’t slowly beat it to death.

Good Morning Benders , John Wooley, and readers of Alley Oop. Alley and Doc are on a mountain. If they ever want to achieve their mission, they have to descend off the
mountain and find sheltered areas under trees or in the town to get their plant and insect samples. Alley is going to have to be more aggressive in talking to Doc to accomplish
anything. He’s still playing the servant Igor to the Master.
Maybe they should inquire of the stalker Mary Godwin
about a good place to find insects.
