Now we’re getting to the meat of plot . . .

Hope Alley and Doc are able to somehow strengten the weakened space-time continuum fabric in time for Christmas.

    Alternate Alley Oop Chapter 16 “Earth 2 Crisis”(17) 12/17/2012

    Panel One

Back on Earth 2 Oscar and Lola convince the Commander to let them ride their mounts outside his command vehical with their phalanx of 4X4’s as escorts, each armed.

    Panel Two

In side their Land Master, Kowalski, the RADAR operator sees something. “Sir, a strange return at NNE relative.”

    Panel Three

Looking at the RADAR scope at each sweep the Commander sees a strange series of blips, more with each sweep as if they are splitting off of the main body.
    “Engage synthetic aperture RADAR.”
“Affirmative, SAR system is engaged.” Now the upper console flat screen lights up in multicolors as the SAR areial system narrows the beam and using digital resolution and computer processing to give a more direct reading on the objects approaching at Mach 2.347. Unlike the ground scanning SAR a cone of narrowed beams are produced in a multi ordinal format along with a photon stream invisible to normal human eyes. A way of getting around RADAR absorbing materials of stealth. It still isn’t in use yet by our forward forces on Earth 1 but are expected to be fieled within a year or two.

    Panel Four

The Grey Omega Commander (GOC) tells the others outside of the bogies incoming. Lola and Oscar immediately break from the group and head for the nearby deep jungle. All the sounds of the animals of the forest have become deathly quiet.

    Panel Five

“Here they come people!” The last thing the Commander says before it happens. Then their systems go dark and there is a huge silent flash of light.

There was a Kowalski in all four years of Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea (1964-1968)

I agree with Rod Gonzalez. We finally have the possibility of a real plot and an enjoyable story. If the Benders don’t blow it.

Hope Alley and Doc are able to somehow strengten the weakened space-time continuum fabric in time for Christmas.

When my socks develop a hole in the fabric, I can ‘darn’ it (sew it up). How do you ‘darn’ the fabric of the space-time continuum? Where do you buy the threads (or strings from the string theory) and a needle that will do the repair?

One Mayan guy says to the other “Hey, wanna go get a beer?”

Other Mayan guy – “Can’t, I’m working on this calendar.”

First guy – “Come on man, It’s Happy Hour.”

Calendar guy – “OK, I guess if I don’t finish it, it won’t be the end of the world.”

most likely they have planned to “fix” things by tossing the ball and chocolate back into the hole even though they didn’t come out until after the hole happened.

Hmmm, Lola and Oscar warned them. What is it about ‘those in power’ what they will not listen to the people who have the info and want to help?

One of my neighbors owned a bull dog. He was a good (to people), intelligent dog. His owner refused to believe me when I told him that his dog (like mine) had learned to open the backyard gate with his nose. He blamed the dog escaping on the children in the house.

My other neighbor had a handicapped little cat, her paw had healed wrong when it had broken but she could get around very well, and also 2 of the little cat’s kittens, full grown now. I warned this neighbor that the bull dog was getting out and that his cats should be in his house when he leaves for their safety.

The cats did not get out of their yard. The dog did. The little mother cat is dead and the dog is being held as a violent animal and will probably be ‘put down’.

I am not ‘mentally handicapped’, nor stupid. i’m not especially pretty or svelt, either. I don’t talk to people in a condescending way. What is it about me, that what I say is discounted? Is it because I am female?

I wish i could say for certain. But we can be dismissed by others for any number of reasons. Even when we have been proven right before!
    -
Whatever their prejudice, their station in life some reason (s) they will dismiss others who know. Strange thing about some people.

Most people refuse to accept obvious risk to them and their loved ones until it’s too late. In fact, warning them causes them to become paranoid about your own motives. They would rather pick up the pieces rather than prevent something bad from happening. Example: newtown.

It’s may be the lens. The box only stores the light passing thru. Camera obscura effect.
