Alley Oop, spying a pair of beached sailing vessels from a distant hilltop, is being guided to the site by a native he has befriended. alley: you said th' skipper of those ships and his men are going hungry, ameyro...how come? ameyro: when white warriors come here, they trade many things for food! ...soon natives have all beads, rings, and bells they want...so we stop trading! much better to put food in own stomach! alley: i sure can't knock that kinda thinkin'!
