    re: panel 2

    imagine the whining if she had to deal with something like that. Unlike pregnancy, it’s usually for a lifetime.

    That’s what they call a sexist remark. I have seen that women generally deal with illness better than men – except when they are looking for attention, which is a different case. Adam is being a baby.

    If Adam gets any more annoying, Laura will need to take a big dose of dontgivadam

    @Nachikethass That is a sexist remark. I have seen people deal well and badly with illness regardless of their gender. Besides, we never really know what kind of pain someone else is dealing with.

    Are you insinuating that he is pregnant?

    And yeah, men are usually far more helpless and whiny than women when it comes to being sick. Usually, I just can’t afford being sick. :S

    An interesting thought…I have noticed that most guys i know tend to get better more quickly when they are sick than the woman I know when they get sick. In the case of my fiancé, it’s because she doesn’t ever want to slow down long enough for her body to get well. She insists she can “handle it” and so it takes longer for her to get better than it usually does for me. Usually I whine a little more at the beginning, but I end up treating it sooner because of the complaints. I have no idea if that’s really a gender thing though, or if its just a “people are different” thing :)

    Just an FYI, fiance is the masculine version and fiancee is the feminine version though they are both pronounced the same. Fee-yan-say.

    firstly, why did Mr Harrell mis-spell quitchurbitch’n? which begs the question of the proper spelling.

    @Nabuquduriuzhur

    Hey Mr. Caveman, men and women deal with pain in different ways but most of the men in my family whine more about allergies and common colds than the women do. Most of us take medicine and keep doing what needs to be done, the men want to be babied.
