    And I thought Katy inherited her mother’s smarts.
    Shows how wrong a person can be.
    I won’t be posting tomorrow (Yom Kippur).
    Enjoy your Friday 13.

    Yom Tov, SUSAN. May your fast (if you are fasting) be an easy one.

    At least sequins won’t get all over the furniture like glitter would. I know firsthand that when glitter gets stuck to seat cushions and such, it’s a (rhymes with witch) to remove!

    There’s a phrase that every parent thought they’d never utter… “please don’t glitter the dog.”

    Dogs will lick off such things that are put on their bodies. Could choke.

    @SUSAN NEWMAN

    Hopefully, better than I did today!

    Rain was supposed to end (key word: supposed) this morning around 10 a.m. Well, it stopped — and I took advantage of the break to finally bike over to my sister’s place in the next town over to bring her some challah and honey cake for she and her house mate to share. Nothing wrong with the weather on the way there — but about 30 seconds into my return trip, BOOSH! DOWNPOUR! Ducked into a car dealership, waited out the storm, about 30 minutes. continued on to Mickey D’s for lunch, and while I’m eating, the sky opened up again. Once that subsided, I went to the supermarket to pick up a bottle of orange juice — three guesses as to what I saw as I was about to leave?

    And this morning, I told a poster that I didn’t believe in “superstitious horse hockey” regarding Friday the 13th.
