    I wouldn’t be offended …but then I’m not married.
    If the situation were reversed, a female patron could scream sexual harassment.

    It’s quite common here to call a woman, “Love”. It’s not meant as a sexual reference or in a condescending manner. If you bump trolleys in a supermarket – “Sorry, Love” is an acceptable apology.

    I think that’s unfortunate. I like it when a man opens a door for me.

    Men have trouble knowing what a woman means when she comes across as maybe a little flirty because men Know what it means when they are the ones doing the flirting, it’s easy to read meaning in when it isn’t there

    When I was single I hoped the pseudo-flirting I experienced meant more than it seemed, now that I’m happily married I would rather it means less than it seems

    Okay….yesterday, I saw no evidence of “sexual harassment,” and I flagged someone for thinking there was.

    Today, however, I’m thinking differently. I now regret throwing the flag.

    I agree. Maybe it’s an age thing, but I like a man to open a door for me. Hasn’t happened in a long time though, I guess it might be a thing of the past.

    @Bruno Zeigerts

    I appreciate the attention of men and find it flattering and I’m sure there are many women who don’t scream harassment at a little harmless flirtation. All I do is tell my honey – makes him more appreciative.

    Men still open doors around here. Some of them even wait if you’re not quite there.
