    A book famed for its incomprehensibility, lauded by literary snobs as the greatest novel ever. Pretty much the same phenomenon as those who admire Picasso or John Cage.

    I think we were reading “Xanadu” when I told my English teacher we would understand it better if we were smoking whatever he was smoking when he wrote it. I think that was the year I flunked English.
