The sales climate is changing. Adapt or go extinct. Sell the things that people are buying.

I went over to the dark side (e-reader) this year.

I still do most of my reading in the conventional method (paper books and magazines), but it was too hard to resist the appeal of (a) a new electronic gadget; and (b) the ability to read in total darkness (no more sleeping spouse disturbance issues).

I have always enjoyed perusing the bookshelves of my friends homes to see what they have read. This worked fine until I commented to one of them about her collection. She replied that she hadn’t read a single book that was on the shelves. The books were only there for decorating purposes.
My son when he was in high school took a look at my selection of titles and exclaimed that I had a large portion of the summer reading list he was given. It contains lots of Hemingway, Steinbeck, Somerset Maugham and Raymond Chandler

Doctor 11, I read Ebooks on a Kindle and a Kindle for the PC and it’s no different than reading comics online, both are very easy for me to do. If ypu love what you call “real books” why do you read comics online?

considering what happened to film cameras you have to wonder if the same will happen to real books over time. camera magazines always said film will never die.
