    Some years ago I did an experiment with marigold seeds. They’d been exposed to cobalt 60.
    The ones with 50,000 Rads grew much faster than the control/unirradiated plants.
    After a week, though, it was clear that things were going weird, such as stems rotated to their normal directions.
    The 4 million Rad group popped up and died in 3 days, reaching a height of about 3". Looked all crinkly like peppermint leaves do.
