The Academia Waltz was Berke Breathed's first cartoon, published daily from 1978 to 1979 in The Daily Texan at The University of Texas at Austin, where he was a student. The strip focused primarily on college life, although it sometimes made references to big news stories of the time (such as the incident at Three Mile Island in 1979).

My Dad & I worked that S.T.N.P. back in ’84.We were living off of Turtle Bay,Tx and the pay scale was good,especially since He was I.B.E.W.,Local 278 & I was a summer apprentice.The rat contractors before were way over budget and behind schedule. When the Unions took over it was finished way under budget & ahead of schedule.

Still have the STNP only they took out the “Nuclear” in the name. Still not getting that “too cheap to meter” energy yet.
