Hi Snoop, it’s 1:10 am here in Fla. I’ve come back here several times looking for a comment to show me the way on this one! I get the big bear, they can’t see him, and he must have eaten Edgar, but what is tied on his head?

I’ve been reading your comments since you were Denver Bronco, and you’re a clever guy! Good luck with the strip.

Molly … I followed another commenter to this strip….
cos someone told me about it…

This is a famous cartoon, from the Far Side, by Gary Larsen.

The bear is wearing a fake pointy nose, tied behind his head, so that the penguins will think he’s one of them, rather than a predator.

It is NOT Adam Nedens’ work.

Adam, I know you’re young, and that you’d love to have your own comic.
Many of us share that dream.

But, sorry, it’s way not cool to just take another artist’s work and present it as your own… even if you credit it, which you don’t.

Besides, you could even get in legal trouble.

I LOVE the comics… and as part of that, I have a great respect for cartoonists.

    Gary Larsen was a genius…
and the following quote explains what he thinks about people posting his work on a website, even properly credited:

“It is difficult to find many Far Side cartoons online, since Larson, his publishers, and lawyers have successfully persuaded people not to infringe on his copyright.

Larson wrote a widely distributed letter in which he explains the “emotional cost” to him of people displaying his cartoons on their websites and asks them to stop."

The same applies to any other artist’s work…. whether it’s from their own websites, CartoonStock, or anywhere else, such as you’ve posted in the last few days.

I’d love to see what YOU can draw, write, and color…
    that would be YOUR strip.

    Thanks.

Went back and checked the first three strips, all of which were penned by Graham Herrop.

    Big disappointment here, Adam!
