My grandfather would keep some in an old coffee can and soak some corn cobs in it. He’d then use those to start the fire in the wood burning stove.

Plenty of stories on the farm, people trying to exercise public domain don’t give up after losing one round. What about chicken learning to fly (a plane)? What happens if one of the cows has a calf?
