Do you remember the Chevy Diesel pickups of the late 1970’s? Because the engine was a converted Oldsmobile gas engine, rather than a designed as deisel they did not last long before breaking down. But fo awhile, you could, inded, get a full sized 1/2 ton pickup, that got 30 MPG.
