Panel 3 is correct. Presidents can make things worse sometimes but it takes actions like monster tax cuts for big campaign contributors or big spite tariffs to have much effect. It’s a huge, complex machine without a control panel.
To a certain extent, I believe every poll is self-selecting. I know I screen calls regularly. I assume a substantial portion of the population does also. I really wonder how pollsters. get results that are anything close to accurate.

Bidenomics works. The right-wingers only can lie about it.

Am I suppose to hate anything and everything the polls are asking about? If so, it makes life simpler.

Polls’ margin of error is rarely recognized by the innumerate. Polls can be important, as a snapshot of a given time and place.

As annoying as they may be, polls do serve a purpose.
