China had the agreement of the entire G-20 in lecturing Obama on his spendthrift policies..
..and with the US dollar still the world’s #1 currency, what our feds do with the dollar (printing too many without a shred of value/backing) does affect the world.
Interestingly enough The Trump postulated resuming the taxes on
China which would certainly give more balance to the US
China trade balance. Maybe someone should heed this
And the concern is over not using the dollar to set oil prices? Who needs gold when the black type makes the world really go ‘round? Economics degrees should be issued on “flash” paper, and considered magician(or charlatan), licenses.
^^fennec i am saving that to read tomorrow, thank you.
But to be brief, my father was in the military and was gone.
My mother babysat properties for rich people who trusted her.
We had a charge account at the local grocery store and the store was paid when my father’s monthly check came.
I lived in rich people’s homes for 2 weeks or in Maine for 5 months. I helped care for their pets.
It prepared me for golf, a sport in which honesty and integrity were everything.
It seems to still work, my bank knows I have been unemployed for 2 years, yet still I borrowed money while my house is for sale.

disgustedtaxpayer, China’s manipulation of its own currency isn’t helping matters.

This is the part of the deficit we older people pay for: inflation destroying the value of our savings.

^ I am a Yellow Dog Democrat and proud of it. A yellow cur dog could have done a better job than Reagan, or either Bush senior or his incompetent son.
