Churchillwasright, I suspect that dtroutma’s point, among other things, is that Iran is just as «legitimate» a nation as Israel, the US, Japan, France, etc. Now we may disagree what it takes to constitute a nation, but the Persians have certainly been around as a coherent and cohesive unit for a long time, so questioning their «legitimacy» is probably not productive. As for your hope that that country of 70 million inhabitants is «turn[ed] into a parking lot», that would seem to be the level of moral thinking we have come to expect from you….
