Consider all the totally whacko stuff he’s done. Now consider that this totally whacko idea is actually among his less awful ones. Of course there’s no way it can happen, but I expect he’ll find a way to spin it for his base(r/st) if they end up liking the idea. And remember: These folks are European and white so they’re infinitely better than all of those other folks who want to immigrate.
In some of my fiction the American Empire goes and takes Greenland, does pay for it, where the “Greenland Horror” happens from all the melting ice as the AGW proceeds at a faster pace. Something is awakened….
