many years ago i witnessed a wreck - a man had a heart attack while driving - he couldn’t unbend his knee to cut acceleration and he ran right into a house
then a few years ago, an old fellow - 93 - insisted on driving - with a similar difficulty backed from his driveway right into the house across the street - next to mine!
this to say, it would be difficult to believe that all 32 to 56 killed in “fatal unintended accelleration incidents” were necessarily toyota-gas-pedal related and there have certainly been similar incidents with other cars
