Belief cannot merely override everything. In order for it to be valid, belief must override everybody’s everything.

There’s an awful lot Little Rickie (or Mittie) wouldn’t do. Kinda takes all the fun out of it.

Comedian Kristen Schall told a joke I will try to paraphrase. In Oklahoma what is the difference between a fertilized egg, a corporation, and a woman? Only two are people.

Welcome to the Great American Taliban! The mentality and depth of understanding of a 13th Century 10 year old boy, running the country. Yeah, sounds great. I’m sure the Democrats are really in danger from this nonsense.

“smear the Republicans, use lies, and focus on the idea that if a Republican is elected, there will be a federal policeman in every bedroom in America”

-Happens every 4 years, can’t believe you’re acting like it’s something that won’t happen… That’s the nature of party politics: To demonize the other side, and paint your own side as the cure-all. Haven’t you ever heard a Republican state that America will be attacked if the Democratic candidate is elected? It isn’t unique to either side. Our job as voters is to do the work, sifting through the BS, to find the truth, rather than take the easy route and follow the slogans and bumper-stickers. So the question is: Are you willing to do the work to find truth, or are you just going to accept the line that panders to what you want to hear?

And then there are the Republicans in Arizona, who want to make it legal to fire a woman who is on the pill for purposes her employer disagrees with. They make us in Texas look almost human. But Perry will continue to fight that, using deficit spending instead of federal spending for women’s health.

Do folks on “the right” really think a guy who wants to invade the privacy of ovaries and uterus, won’t invade the gun locker? It is totalitarian leaders who oppress the people, and take away the guns, just like the right to medical services.

The real concern with regard to Republican candidates today is that “lies” are just quoting them, and “smears” are just accurately pointing to their records. I’m sure there must remain some sane, intelligent, Republicans who respect the Constitution and all people’s rights, they just aren’t anywhere close to the national stage or spotlight.

it’s so interesting that the republicans are trying to tell us that santorum and romney did say what they really did say.

    it’s all over youtube.

ban contraceptiongays are the problemend public educationban pre-natal testing because it leads to abortion.

the santorum that comes out of santorums mouth really is unbelievable. i wish i could believe the republicans that say he didn’t say it.

    but he did.

Say, how come you still refused to give a source for your claim? Might it be “the sound of silence from the person who doesn’t know how to google”? Or, more likely, silence from someone who couldn’t find anything on Google to back up what he said.
