Transcript:
He is a staple of every news story about unemployment. (Man 1: I sent out 13,000 resumes. Nothing.) (Man 2: 13,000 that's a lot.) Sometimes he's a she. (Woman: I sent out 462,307 resues to 4,200 companies in all 192 U.N. member states.) (Man 1: I hear the Somali pirates are hiring.) Obsessive job seekers. They are America's true heroes. (Man 3: I parachuted onto Bill Gates' estate to deliver 300 resumes but he had me arrested.) They help keep it real for the rest of us. (Man 4: I'm a Ph.D. in biochemistry. This is my millionth resume! Congrats!)
TCL, check the recent archives of “Pooch Cafe” (available free of charge right here on GoComics!) for the answer to that. The pups have their own names, before they’re adopted. When they’re paired with their new Mommies and Daddies they tell what their names are, but they may be changed entirely, or modified. Poncho was known as “Porcho” to his littermates.
