Chancellor Hitler, once the most feared dictator on earth, delivered a subdued "state of the reich" speech that reflected his low poll numbers. The state of the reich is strong as ever! How the mighty have fallen! The fuhrer's modest agenda - dog license reform and autobahn repair - are stuck in his rubber - stamp reichstag. People are ready to turn the page. It's 1958! Why didn't that useless old coot kill himself when he was still relevant!? Loyalist defenders say Hitler, though admittedly pathetic, is a victim of his own success. He's out of big ideas, because he accomplished them all. Total war! Final solution! Small ideas are all that's left! Still, times are tough, even Hitler's claim that the war is going better is falling on deaf ears. The war in the USSR? Why haven't we pulled out yet?
