Any publicly traded company that did not plan for bad times after 2008 should be allowed to expire.

Should show small business connected to a piggy bank. The Republicans think that they are on their own.

Any company listed on any stock exchange should not get any funds from any of the bailout bills.

If we are really committed to capitalism and free enterprise, bailouts should not be allowed. Survival of the fittest.

Relief from the Federal Government to Small Businesses reminds me of Bob Hope’s famous quip about banks; he said they will gladly “lend you money if you can prove that you don’t need it.”

It has ever been so: “It ain’t what you know, it’s WHO you know” for instance. And of course the Gross Old Perverts did insist that a lot of the payout go to big corporations because that’s their job!

Marco Rubio admitted that restaurant lobbyists wanted a special “carve-out” so “small business” was measured by location when it should be total number of employees. And 500 is NOT small.

Consider this “trickle down program”.Give the money to people, and let it trickle down to business.

Trickle down has never worked, as far as raising the standard of living, anywhere that it has been tried. And, it is completely illogical to believe that it ever could. If you are paying a guy to cut your lawn and he’s doing an adequate job, then you get a raise at work, do you raise his pay? Neither will the 1%ers. The only reason to spend more on hired help is that you need more workers to get the job done. The only way more workers will be needed is if there is an increased demand for product- in other words people are buying more stuff. The only reason people would be buying more stuff is that they can afford it. And, the only reason that they could afford more is that they are the ones getting the tax cuts, not the rich guys. Trickle down just gives the rich guys more money to hide offshore , or more money to buy more politicians to write laws so they have more money to hide offshore. If you want that money to stay in America, increase production, and raise everyone’s standard of living, trickle UP will do the job, not trickle down.

And MItch insists all big business be immune from any tort or litigation if they injure or kill someone with their practices. And of course will again not be going to the little guys, still subject to suit apparently.
