There is everything to worry about.
As a retired SaLT (Speech and Language Therapist), I can promise you that children do not “grow out” of a lisp. Unless treated it persists into adulthood, and in boys particularly will lead to mockery and scorn (unless you are Chris Eubank or Mike Tyson).
BTW – I know this is just a cartoon (and actually I do think it’s funny), but if your child has a lisp, get it sorted asap – if it’s still there when your child is 7, then they will have it for LIFE!
