As usual, the “white” community as represented by Mr. Ariail does not accurately depict Indians. To my knowledge, no female Amerind was ever “awarded” a feather, eagle or otherwise, for bravery. This particular bit of symbolism was strictly for male posturing amongst their own sex. Female Amerinds had other ways of establishing themselves in their own hierarchy – Senator Warren would NEVER wear a feather on her head.
Also, by the way, the Senator from Massachusetts has never, to my knowledge, engaged in “Identity” politics – the Left generally leaves THAT to the Republicans, who are orders of magnitude better at slander, bigotry and racism that we’ll EVER be.
