About Questionable Quotebook

Welcome to your favorite motivational quotebook turned upside down! Between its covers, you’ll find a lively anthology of witty, relatable musings on politics, the economy, relationships, family feuds, social missteps, introvert struggles, anxiety spirals, work
dramas and office politics, internet culture, food obsessions, pet antics (both cats and dogs), and life’s little moments that make you scratch your head.

Just remember—take the laughs seriously, but the advice? Not so much.

“Questionable Quotebook” is a gag cartoon written and illustrated by cartoonist and self-proclaimed overthinking queen Sam Hepburn. She was in the middle of pitching a completely different comic strip when her editor noticed some posters on her website
with very silly but very boldly illustrated statements. She asked if Sam would be interested in turning that into a strip—and the rest is history! “Quotebook” has been web syndicated by GoComics since 2016.

Meet Sam Hepburn

Sam Hepburn is a cartoonist, graphic novelist, and former advertising copywriter. She was born in Scotland, to a Scottish dad and Malaysian mom. As a teen she moved around a lot, and always the outsider, learned to make new friends fast. Probably by being a bit
weird. Also by drawing, making up stories, and telling jokes. Usually about the things and people around her that she thought were absurd. Like how her high school was no bastion of education, but simply one of several businesses owned by a local entrepreneur.
They also had a travel agency.

Sam lives in Kent, England, with her husband, dog, and two cats. Her debut graphic novel "SCHOOLBOT 9000" is inspired by her experiences writing for big tech and follows a young boy whose life spirals into chaos when his favorite teachers are replaced by robots.
