   I have to agree 100% with your comment, the comic does focus on politics and makes fun of it. Therefore, one would expect some comments of a similar nature.

   For those who wish to go back to the Jon dating gags, one could have the best of both worlds by Jim Davis occasionally doing a strip about Jon’s past dates that we have not seen, say like a flashback. Personally I like Liz’s interaction with Garfield and how she copes with Jon’s strange behaviour.
