The CGDT Museum launched its first quarterly content update since introducing the Members HQ in October, 2010. They added three new biographies to the previously launched Villains Gallery and added 1940s examples of the Tracy strip–dailies and Sundays–to the previously launched Anniversary Exhibition Gallery, as well. They also launched the Fan Letters Gallery and Doodles and Drawings Gallery, both of which feature never-before-published material.

To top it all off they added a special sneak-preview video trailer for the upcoming feature-length documentary on Gould entitled, Chester Gould–An American Original. It features commentary from the film by Max Allan Collins, Dr. Garyn G. Roberts, Dick Locher, Jean O’Connell and Mal Ballairs–a MUST SEE for any Tracy or Gould fan!

I wear no halo…I’m quite imperfect…and I’ve never said otherwise, nor will I. I’m perfectly imperfect and happy to share it. :)

Sydney, my friend, you sure make a lot of assumptions about the quality of American law enforcement. This may be the greatest weakness in your arguments, pal. No disrespect intended, but night hawks seems to have a point here.

BB, old pal–I’m well and I hope for you the same. When I get called to NYC next, I’ll be looking you up for that coffee klatch, indeed!

Like so many things, it’s best summed up in an analogy. It’s like an alcoholic hanging out in a bar every day after work. We’re colleagues, sure, but there are no lectures in either direction, Sydney. He has every right to profess whatever he likes, independent of the CGDT Museum, as do I. You can debate the manner in which he expresses himself, but I doubt you’d debate his right to say what he says. Disagreements in a group setting are inevitable.

We all have different manners about us, don’t we? Yet, any one of us do not perfectly represent any cause we believe in or support, other than ourselves, right? Then we each hold ourselves accountable to our Maker, right?

You might be surprised to learn (or not?) that MPH reads ONLY the strip and never the comments here. He receives an omnibus email of Tracy and a number of other strips each morning.

    Grok said:

“The super-secret brilliant-genius significance of the two addresses for the SWAT team was…what, exactly?”

I figured this one out on my own, so you’ll forgive me if I don’t spill my guts here. I never lost faith that you could figure out the rest of this story on your own, Grok. :)

I agree with you, wholeheartedly, that “the system” was devilishly preposterous. Sadly, we will have to wait to see if the double-or-nothing bet pays off.
