What a pleasant surprise for the new year. I had become so use to the normal juvinile name calling and trumpet blowing. Imagine my surprise to find a majority of fact based inteligent commentary. Obviously parents can sieze conrol of the family computer. Good work mom and dad!!

So where did we get the idea of a tax “CUT”? Republicans fight to keep a law which would prevent taxes from being increased. Democrats fight to let it terminate automaticaly reverting to higher taxes. Sounds like a tax increase to me. But, that would mean that Democrats were trying to force a tax increase down the American people’s throats. Funny how confusing logic can be, or is that the point.

Hey dtroutma. Who do you think bought the CEO the dinghy? While we are on the subject of boats, does bailout bring back any memories?

Looks like human nature has not changed much. When you can’t face your own failures, find someone else to blame them on. Then, change the subject. Wake up whiney butts. The country needs people who will address this administrations failures, not the previous one. We live in the present. If you can’t face it objectively, shut up and let those who can lead without excuses do so.

Get real people!!! Wal- mart, war, the Chinese. Nice excuses for the greedy Americans who buy this Chinese stuff. You know - The same fat people who can’t get enough of evil Mc Donalds. Grow up and put the blame where it belongs. Thats you and me baby. You can’t fix a problem when you are in denial.

Finally a president who is not afraid to admit mistakes. Finally a president who follows his concience rather than his party bosses. Finally a president who is willing to listen to the American people even if they disagree with him. What a novel idea. I wonder why nobody thought of it before. I did’nt vote for him but I can bleeep shure learn from him. Amazing what can happen in a free country. Buczek

What do you call people who use power to force their will on others less powerfull. When I was in school we called them bullies. The only thing you can do with bullies is to stand up to them and tell them “NO”. Even if you cannot win. Even if it costs you a beating. The consequences of not saying “NO” are far worse than any beating. The trick however is, when you come into power, not to turn into a bully yourself. Buczek
