Gee, thought the G in that was for ‘Giving’.

She/he complained of a spot from poison ivy from the ant hill that was sat on. Then made a small comment regarding ants. This was a number of days ago. You’ll have to do the searching, though. Sorry.

I’d give it a try! By the looks though, might have to watch for the bones. As long as the sardines are fresh versus the over salted non rinsed kind we get here in the U.S.

When you dropped them, they never broke, so you weren’t out another $1,000 or so!

That was during my first stationing there 74-79. Worked in Schierstein (W part of Wiesbaden) on the river. Lived in Medenbach, E. of Wiesbaden. It was on a small inter Dorf road between the fields. The hare started from the top of the left field, landed in the center of the road, and then jumped to the top of the right bank. Straight air distance was approximately 12M. Never saw a hare that big or that jumped that far before nor since that episode. My guess would be that it weighed about 25-30Kg.

I’ll put $100 on the fact that is " A Avenue"! I’ve to more than one in my life.

There’s a bunch of good oldies also from the mid to late 50’s!
