Thank You. I was thinking the same thing. There was one a few years ago, a soap opera involving Tiffany, her dad, and Ann Eiffel. I actually swore off, but returned a couple of months later and saw that the coast was clear. I still do not know what came of that, but I have not seen Ann since.
Do you think she’ll remember? I met my own babysitter more than fifty years after the, um, difficulties. She remembered everything. I still say I was in the right.
I am referring to the original publication, maybe thirty years ago. To my knowledge, that cannot be accessed from this site or any other. It was probably printed in one or more of the collection books. And then there are library microform newspaper archives. I am not that distracted by it though.
This must be the most memorable episode in the whole run of this comic strip, but I seem to be remembering it differently. As I recall the first version, Edgar taught himself to use the doorbell several weeks before, and that was how he got the attention of the household. Am I wrong? Aside from the colorization I have noticed several minor dialog changes meant to modernize it, but why would anyone cut the whole doorbell thing?
