Well, this is a NEW definition of “Pluggers.” I’m pretty sure that Pluggers are the ones who LAUGH at the people who are forced to to squint in the sun and block it with their hands, because their baseball caps are foolishly turned backwards!!
If you’re talking about the FUTURE,you can call Cowboys-Commanders a rivalry. If you’re talking about the PAST, not so much. Cowboys-Redskins, yes, THAT was a historic rivalry. I don’t have any issue with the team changing its name, it was offensive and overdue. But you can’t pretend they’ve always gone by that new name. “Hey, remember the epic showdown for the NFC Championship in ’82, when the Commanders took on the Cowboys?” “No…” And if this gets too messy and complicated, you could’ve just chosen a different matchup.
