   For inflammations of the joints, it’s better than heat, but I have the good ol’ problem with the spinal discs, at least it feels better ;)

   True. I think, the best resource is saving energy. Better isolation, better efficiency of energy consuming material. Doesn’t hurt, nobody has to abstain from something. Initially, it costs much, but rising temperature would be more expensive on the long run.But ok, my opinion, there are others.

   I use small pads, they warm up by some chemical process, but of course, CO2 is involved, too.Independent from any political idea – we need to reduce use of energy, and that has to happen in short time, say within 100 years – if we are lucky.
