I find this a rather difficult subject to reconcile absolutely. I am all in favor of LAGBTQ+ rights, for sure. And yet, I have done enough martial arts and sports to know that yes: there are plenty of strong women out there than could easily snap me it into pieces and squash me like a bug, but… also that when a biological male, and a biological female of equivalent size, weight and level of skill and training, the male always has the advantage. And I also know enough biology to know that, like it or not, there are indeed physical differences between biological males and females that will never change, regardless of treatment received.
As a matter of fact, yes, I do want them ALL banned. Guns have a single purpose: to kill. And assault weapons have an even more specific purpose: to kill very dead, very efficiently. Letting anyone have whatever guns they want without restriction makes absolutely no sense to any rational being. There should be tightly controlled access to hunting guns, for which assault weapons are unnecessary.And if you want to be “ready to defend the country”, do what the constitution says: organize a well-regulated militia, register it with the government, provide extensive and professional weapons training, and when not training or facing and armed invasion, keep the guns under secure lock.
Why not? She’d be president, and according to the Trumpublicans, presidents can do whatever the heck they want…Oh, wait! It’s only God Emperor Trump that can do whatever the heck he wants, sorry. S.O.L.
There is “strong”, and then there is “brutish”, which is what applies in this case.
