The last panel was modified from the the original. When the strip first ran, Farley was behind Elizabeth, not next to her, and he had no collar on.
Those are both April’s hands; her right is on the window and her left forefinger is in her mouth. Elly needs both her hands to hold April up to see in the window.
These are the exacts same strips from 1995, except now they are in color.
Junior is doing it in today’s Dick Tracy, as well.
