Yes, I noticed the comb placement too, but after I’d posted the comment. I think that it was just an “off” day for Georgia… Her artwork is still lovely, though, and Pucky is still adorable, though, so we can still enjoy the day’s edition.
Puck is adorable, as always, and I love his simple, calm morning ritual. But his reflection in the mirror is incorrect… It’s “flipped” from what it would really be…
Yes, if one chooses to put some in the drawers. Or, one could put sachets in the drawers (which is what we females did in my growing-up home, and what I still do).
In the case of a woman’s “unmentionables”, there is such a thing as a lingerie chest - it’s a chest of drawers that is tall and slightly narrow, and it has lots of drawers that are shallower-than-usual. Just FYI…
Thank you! I had totally missed it - or it got by me - or some such… I swear that I read this comic every day, but there are always some past stories/panels that are pointed out in the comments that come as a complete surprise to me! Missed day’s reading or missed memory? Not sure… Ugh.
Yeh… Way back, while she was still living outside, Goldie “borrowed” (stole) his tape recorder - it’s the one that we saw in her jacket a couple of days ago. Ever since, he has disliked her. The Orb keeps waiting for her to apologize to him and/or return the tape recorder (with an apology).
Well… The Woman actually IS Georgia… BUT the BCN world is a little different than IRL… In the BCN world, The Woman seems to have been a stay-at-home Mom. Now that The Man (who we would see go to work in the BCN world) has faded from the picture, The Woman needs to earn a living. So it is being introduced in today’s strip that she used to draw, when Elvis and Puck were young… It’s a segue into her being a cartoon artist, or just plain artist (which she is!)… We’ll see how the BCN world evolves…
