We all seem to be forgetting that Hamas is not a legitimate government, but a terrorist organization whose only purpose is the elimination of Jews worldwide.
What everyone, including Mr. Rall, fails to recognize is that, in order to be in business in China, you MUST be in partnership with the government. This isn’t just oversight, or potential bullying; actual partnership. So, will the Chinese government try to access user data? They already have access to it because they OWN it. That’s the point.
Makes me think of the Family Guy gag, when Chris becomes a famous artist, and someone asks him to explain one of his abstract paintings, and he says, “Well, it’s partly an expression of my teenage angst. But mostly it’s a moo-cow!”
OR you can exercise your right to participate in democracy and elect representatives to congress who will pass legislation making it legal, or even an amendment making it a “right,” like you SHOULD HAVE done the first time around.
But democracy is hard and the outcome is not guaranteed, so please, keep trying to circumvent it via the Court and convince more justices to take away your democratic rights to determine what should be legal and what should be a right.
To be fair, Rose often insults Avis, too. I think this is the first time I recall Avis insulting Rose.
