If you really want to lay blame on this current mess, lay it on the group in Missouri who brought the lawsuit. If they hadn’t of brought the suit, there wouldn’t have been a case for the Supreme Court to hear. In the original Roe v Wade case, the Supreme Court granted abortion protection through the first trimester and the States should take into consideration the health of the woman in the second and third trimester. My understanding of the Missouri case, the state was restricting abortions AFTER thirteen weeks, which was in compliance with Roe v Wade.
You know, everyone should just step back, take a breath, and wait until the Court actually makes their ruling. As this was a draft from 6 months ago, things could very well have changed.
