   Bookswap, Chapter 33: Battle of the books?

   “Yikes! It’ s the most evil character, and the biggest suck up character from each of our book serieses!” Nate and Greg exclaimed. “That’s right. And look what else we’ve got…” Mrs. Godfrey said as she held up “Big Nate’’ while Manny held up “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” “As long as WE have your books, you can’t stop us!” Gina sneered. “Bye bye Bubby!” Manny said demonically to Greg. “How will we get the books?” Greg asked Nate. “I don’t know, you got any ideas?” “We have one! Said Holly and Dee Dee. The villains laughed maniacally, but little did they know that Dee Dee and Holly snuck up behind them and grabbed the books. “Hey! Let go!” Cried Mrs. Godfrey and Manny as they got in a tug-o-war over the books with Holly and Dee Dee. The two girls managed to each rip out a page, and without thinking, they ran over to Greg and Nate. “We couldn’t get the books but I think we know how we can beat them.” They then told Greg and Nate the plan. “Alright! Let’s write!” They said, They quickly started to write in the books: “Just when all seemed lost, suddenly, Nate/Greg and his trust…ish allies got superpowers!” Suddenly, in a flash of lightning, it happened. All of them were wearing superhero outfits. “This is cool! What are our superhero names?” Rowely asked. Nate announced them all: “Ultra nate! Teddy Titan! Captain Frantastic! Mega Chad! Drama girl! Great Greg! Amazing guy! Holly the Hero! And Radical Rodrick! Let’s defeat Mrs. Godzilla and her minions!” To be continued in: Chapter 34: Super fight!

   Bookswap, Chapter 32: “THEM”

   Nate and Greg turned around, only to see… “MRS. GODFERY?!” Nate cried. “What? How?” Sputtered Nate. “Heh… It’s a long story…” Mrs. Godfrey said. “You see, Gina here was working on a science project last week, and it was all about the universe. Being the smartest student ever, she created special glasses that allowed her to read the universe like a book. She then found something weird. Some numbers that would appear at the bottom left and right of our universe. When she touched them, she went to a different part of our universe. Afterwards, she told me about this, and how she felt like she did the same thing every day. It was obvious what was happening: Those numbers were PAGE numbers, meaning we were in a book series! Gina then thought about the theory of multiple universes, and found a way to read OTHER universes, or rather, read other book serieses. She then found that all the book serieses are linked to another dimension, where the creators of the books are. Gina couldn’t find a way to get there, but she DID find a way to obtain stuff from that dimension, like the books that make up our universe, and Greg’s universe. She wanted to see what would happen if the two characters touched each other’s books at the same time, and she got the books into the Barnes and Nobles in both universes, and it got the result I hoped for: Nate being out of my universe. But you’ve been trying hard to get back, so us four won’t let you.” “But, there’s only two of you!” Nate exclaimed. Just then, a portal opened, and Greg was filled with terror. The first person who came out was the annoying suck up: Patty Farrell. And the second was the most evil creature from his universe: Manny Heffley. To be continued…
