   My old social studies teacher was really sexist. During tests, he tended to say “I forgot” as a response to questions that would give something away. I had asked him which way a relative vertical timeline was proceeding in, and he responded with “I forgot”. 5 minutes later, some cute girl came by and asked him the same question but rephrased. Of course, he spent a couple more minutes explaining to her the chronology of the events while practically giving her the answers for the other question. It was like this with the other non-white boys (he treated the white kids like god).

    Who thinks Peirce won’t ever tell us? After all, Nate has already seen who the winner was, and considering his rather bland reaction, it’s not going to make a difference. Imagine how the winner could be revealed in a completely not-crap stale way. Like, Nate’s not that devastated. It can’t be Daphne, because then he’d get jealous (like with Angie). It can’t be Gina, because then he’d be in agony. If it was someone important, he would have already reacted to it in this strip.

    Conclusion: It’s no one important and he has no reason to tell us who it was.
