I started reading on GoComics on November 11th in 2014 as a guest after my older brother and my father had recommended that I started reading on the site, and I chose to listen to them since my brother had been on the site since early 2010 and my dad had been on the site since December of 2006. I had an original account that joined in early 2017. It was later banned in early 2018. I continued reading comic strips as a guest. In July or August of 2020, I signed up again for GoComics again. I enjoy reading, Baby Trump, Big Nate, Peanuts (hardly anymore), Ripley's Believe it or Not, Doodle Town, A Problem Like Jamal, Wrong Hands, Ken Catalino, Doonesbury (original strips), and Calvin and Hobbes (which I haven't read since 2016, but was my favorite comic in the original days). I pretty much like any comic that seems appealing to me. I am still active on the site, but I will occasionally go inactive from the site. *I have a life too, you know.*

Could be better. Struggling on calculus.

The body out of gingerbread, the eyes and nose out of gumdrops, the hat, clothing, and beard out of cotton candy. Yum!

    Also, happy early Thanksgiving everybody!

That’s actually not that surprising. Nate is actually quite capable of doing well in school, even though he doesn’t get the grades he should be getting. He technically has capabilities, but they are limited since he doesn’t have the willpower to study for long hours. He technically got that as a freebie since he has some prior knowledge, and is actually decently competent to do well in school. The key problem with Nate is that he has no willpower, endurance, and patience. If he could fulfill these three main things he is lacking, he would be golden.

I’m very thankful for this comic strip. This strip has been helping me out since late 2016. Though I didn’t start commenting on the strip until recently, I have always appreciated it, as it has always gotten me through tough times. Thank you and may God bless you.

I agree! It totally gets on my nerves! I was fine with it when I had just joined GoComics in 2014, and I thought guests could like there own comments (I thought they could comment), but I was wrong, and that all started the irritation since my father wouldn’t let me make an account until I was over 13. Finally, when I turned 13 in 2016, I wanted to make an account, but I decided to not since there were really big arguments in the comment section, so I didn’t want to get wrapped in that toxicity. Around 2017, I reached my breaking point and started flagging every single comment that was liked by the commenter. And I did that for 10 hours a day…for a month! Now, if I see a comment that the commenter likes on their own comment, I flag it immediately. Sometimes, I wish that the “liking” feature had never been released!

Go to the very first strip of Big Nate (The real strip), then come back here and go to the very first strip. It’s the same.

No, this is actually 1997. This is Big Nate First Class, which starts from the first strips. So that would mean that this strip started 5 years ago, so this is 1997.
