My Son should therefore be producing wonderful drawings, as he is finishing up his degree for mechanical engineering. He already has a degree in architectural drafting, and another one in mechanical drafting. Plus he spent several years working as a mechanical drafter, cleaning up old drawings.
My mistake. I had thought that the Katzenjammer Kids were originally German, considering how they spoke.The local (ND) paper had a 2/3rds German to 1/3rd English daily & Sunday paper run. My Dad’s farm got the German version, like most of his neighbors.
You could have used Arnold Schwarzenegger. Or would people think of him only as an actor (or politician)? The Hulk would have worked as well (as a ficticious icon).
When I went over to England for 3 weeks, my local handler (yes, a Brit) stated after a few days that I behaved just like Mary Tyler Moore’s character. I reminded him that I was from where her character was supposedly from (Twin Cities, MN). So of course, I acted that way.
